Malibu Open

Malibu Open was yet again an impressing event. The whole set up in downtown Milwaukke is just amazing and it’s one of the best “not build to waterski” places to ski. We cant thank the inovater behind this event, Dana Reed enough for putting in all the efforts and hard work. If it wasn’t because of him the entire world elite wouldn’t have the chance to be batteling to become the Malibu Open Champions.

All the ladies stepped up and went further in the semifinals and showed world class jumping. Marion Mathieu got herself in the first spot for the final by jumping the distance of 165 feet. Although Maj Lund Jesen jumped 168′ but it didn’t count as she was unable to ride away on the skis. Very unlucky for her she damaged her knee in the landing and was unable to continue.

In the final round Marion managed to keep her lead and took the title late saturday night in the dark. Lauren Morgan was 2nd and Regina came 3rd.

Next GTF supported event will be SOAKED in downtown Orlando 7th and 8th of September. SOAKED
